Diet and nutrition are the cornerstone to regaining our health and detoxifying the body properly and extremely important when it comes to how you combine certain foods. We also want to focus on alkalinity. The core reason why poor health (disease) exists is because of our lifestyles. We consume highly acidic foods, meats, diaries, processed foods, alcohols, refined sugars, sweets, sugary beverages. These are all highly acidic in nature and when consumed, form an acidic ash within our bodies. As our bodies become more and more acidic, we develop what our medical community calls disease. The medical community then prescribes more acidic mediums (pharmaceuticals) and, over time, we become even more acidic. The pharmaceuticals make an attempt to stop symptoms of our current existing health problems rather than fighting the root cause. As we continue down this road, we develop more and more health problems and eventually develop cancer. Cancer is the worst symptom as it means our bodies have reached a state of systemic acidosis and is on the brink of death. However, cancer is nothing to fear as we can reverse all our symptoms if we are willing to change our lifestyles and return our bodies back to an alkaline state.
Another important part of our diet is how we combine our food. Putrefaction (rotting) and fermentation (alcohol) are two of the side effects from poor food combinations. Unfortunately, the standard american diet promotes this in just about everything we eat. Putrefaction and fermentation then become the digestors instead of digestive enzymes that we need. We can feel this after a meal that we eat, bloating and full sensation.
Putrefaction, the decay of organic matter, occurs when a protein is combined with a starch, i.e potato, and neither the meat nor potato digest properly . This is because they have different digestion periods canceling out the digestion patterns for one another (base and acid). As the digestion slows the food begins to putrefy and as a result, instead of digesting and absorbing the necessary nutrients and minerals, we are absorbing the putrefied food which our bodies then have to create an immune response to fend off.
The process of fermentation takes place when we mix fruits (very quick digestion process) with any other kind of food (slow digestion process). When this takes place the sugars are held up in the stomach and thus ferments, which then yields alcohol. By observing proper food combinations we can end the acid regurgitation, ulcerations, bloating, and gas commonly caused by violating these rules.
Exercise is one of the best activities we can partake in to maintain our health. Everyone knows this yet most people struggle with finding the time to do it. The good news here is that exercise can be something as simple as taking a walk down the street. Exercise helps move the lymphatic system. As we know, there are only a few things that can do such a thing. If we are not moving our lymphatic system we are not allowing the natural process our body uses to rid itself of waste. If we are not eliminating waste we then are starting the process of creating disease.
Mental well being is just as important as diet and exercise. We can create anything we want in life just by thinking about it. Our thoughts are what we strive for. What we think about is what we have. Take a look around your rooms. Everything surrounding us was derived by our thoughts. The same goes for disease. If we think we are sick, we are going to be sick. If you believe you can heal, you are going to heal. When we take part in the process of healing our bodies we have to make sure that our minds are ready to take on the battle of healing, we have to make sure we are stress free, and we have to make sure we are staying positive as positive thoughts have a tremendous impact on our lives and our health.
